                              As mentioned in the previous Article, Brazilians are poor in general and many have settled  in US as labourers; But people belonging to Mexico another part of  South America are economically sound ,highly educated and the country has a number of Industrial  establishments and software concerns. Due to the outbreak of the spread of corona pandemic the servant maid in our  house had to be stopped from her service after some time.

                   Sriram and Sathya spoke to us from Oklahoma.Shriya was busy with her swimming competition and Sashank in his own way. 17-02-2020 was a National holiday to celebrate the President's day to commemoriate the  American Independence by which  Abraham Lincoln took over as the first President of United States of America.  I spoke to Rajan and Bhava by video call.   Not much of outing today. Jetlogging was slowly dying  down.I spent some good time with Aaraadhanaa telling her one or two stories. like like "Ashtavagran" and " Kokkenru ninaithaayao konkanavaa " Aaraadhanaa is fond of hearing stories. It was her habit at Bangalore to sleep with me .and she used fall asleep hearing stories from me. Really happy time for me.! At U S also this practice continued but  this did not last long.since she became busier.Her and Aparaajithaa's  fields  of activities had increased to a considerable extent. In addition to regular school  works, they were engaged in dance, music , slokams tutored by experts in the respective fields. Every Sunday they had the Tamil classes also. An unfortunate situation is that for such children  one's own Mother tongue becomes foreign! But their fluency in English can match any American! It was as if I had to get appointment with my own grand daughters! .

                       The peculiarity of US is that the population of native Americans is minimum, unlike in India. People from various parts of the  globe like Indians, Chinese, Mangolians ,Britons, Japanese have come ,occupied and settled in the recent past for improving their lots and they are all culturally different .The numerous software giants, industrial establishments research centres , Educational Institutions all required a lot  of work forces which could not be catered locally by the government.Foreigners  with qualifications have a lot of openings in US .Such people who continue there for a considerable  number of years  are able to get  American citizenship with voting rights.and enjoy a number of facilities  and preferential treatments,

                                                          TRAVEL   (  12  )                                         Summer has started slowly. The usual protective wears like socks, hand gloves ,shirts, over coats and caps for our head , blankets were not required as before.    The chill rooms which needed heater so long felt no such need now.9|5 was a Saturday and therefore we had the chanting of Vishnu Sahasra namam at  4  30 pm .After that C took me outside for a small change.We did not go too for away, but at the nearby road itself, we  got a good sea breeze standing outside the car.                                                                                TRAVEL  (  15  )                                On 14th, August, all of us went to Sanfrancisco Bay area to have  a closer  look of  landing and taking off  by the flights.
