                               On 14th, August, all of us went to Sanfrancisco Bay area to have  a closer  look of  landing and taking off  by the flights. It was a very great source of delight  to witness the different flights on one side of water  bed of breadth more   than a  mile , sitting on the other side .  It was a good pastime .    It was wonderful and enjoyable to watch  two aircrafts landing down simultaneously on  two parellel   tracks and similarly two flights taking off. People of different sorts had come and flocked  the area with family and friends  . This visit led to the wonderful,opportunity of meeting Harini'S  ex colleague Mr. Krishnan and his wife who hail from Thiruchi  and Srirengam which are  places playing the most significant and leading role  in my life  and perhaps the period of my  stay at Thiruchi for three full years forms a memorable part of my life,  spending  my prime youth.From day one we began to move with each  other very close because of our common interest brought  out by the  great seat of culture viz Thiruchirappalli.. in central Tamilnadu.   

                                 ,     His family also stays in  the a nearby apartment in Fostercity,known as Marina Point.I had an immediate opportunity of visiting his house. 18th August  Tuesday  was an Amavasya day. On  that day K invited me to attend his daughter's  star birthday. I honoured the invitation  by attending the same.C and H could not attend because it was a working day for them.The birthday  function was celebrated in a grand manner , performing a lot of homams, pujas and japams. A number of priests who are vedic scholars were involved. , Those who are serving as priests here in America are  South Indian Brahmins settled here long back. They are very rich , being well paid in dollars  owning big houses built on a vast ground. Some of them own even their own personal flights to  commute  between  the different cities of US situated  at great distances of thousands of  miles from one another. When they are free , they fly to India also intermittantly..

                                     On 19th August, Monday ,  we celebrated the yajur Upakarma at our house, in a religious way., using the prescribed book containing the requisite procedures. Next day , we performed the Gayathri Japam function.

                         Thiruchi Krishnnan's  Wedding Anniversary is on 1st Septmber.. The couple visited our house in the evening.. I greeted them and blessed them.. We  hosted the dinner  at our house. After spending some good time with us , they left for home. 1st September is also the wedding anniversary of Sankari, 4th Sept. happens to be mine 5th September is Teachers' Day. . 9th is that of our brother Krishnan, and Mngalam .10th and 12th are my star and date of birth.
