                                                               The journey was quite comfortable through out though I did not have sleep . I was watching others sleeping while  I enjoyed two Tamil movies displayed in  the seat T V in front of  me and also the map indicator of the flight status  then and there . My vision opened to the western world by this journey by setting my foot on the American soil at the SFO aerodrome.We met the eagerly waiting Cheenu ready to receive us at the entrance. The remote controlled big glass doors opened the way for us without anybody's assistence.This  was the first attraction on this foreign land. We settled in the car and  cruisd past the nice roads with turns and counter turns up and down bridges  as Cheenu drove to reach our   tenament  safe.Apartment 2401 of Marlin Gove Avue , NO.1000, FOSTERCITY Blvd.  C A. ( U S A ). My grand daughters Aparaajithaa and Aaraadhanaa were eagerly awaiting our arrival. I was very happy to see them both after roughly one and half years.

                               Next day being Sunday, the young ones did not have their regular school but Aaraadhanaa had her slokam classes conducted by Chinmaya Mtssion and was dropped by C. In the mean time , I had finished breakfast and was ready to go with C to make a first look of the city .. There is a separate building designed for the children  playing  after their school hours,until such time  the parents come and pick up their wards after finishing their own works  in the office.Fostercity is a compact city on the bank of a bay  situated on the tip of a peninsula.One cannot miss  sea water at least one of the sides when one looks outside from the windows of one's residence Our house is a special one in this respect in the sense that as I view from the corner of my room, there are two overbriges running in perpendicular directions.One of these two is pretty long and is of length 1500 meters and of great height  in the form of an arch cars speeding on the bridge and  water flowing underneath on either side with inviting breeze.. We can see boats riding on, the ducks swimming and some more birds flying a little above water level/ More than anything else it will be interesting to watch  the aeroplanes flying at a distane not too far away and at a reasonably small height , preparatory to land down in SFO aerodrome, which is closeby.

                   As a rule school going children below twelve years of age should be dropped in the school and picked. No such restriction from twelve years. Aparaaajithaa can go and come back on her own.She can either walk or pedel the distance. As mentioned earier, FCity is compact , having all its conveniences in close quarters. Post office, Fire station, Town hall ,Library,Police station , India House all clustered in a central locality, surrounded by well laid parks,.In India house, every Indian item is available whether food items or any other article that an Indian will normally use. FCity contains a number of lakes on the banks of which people of all ages, walk ,run, do physical exercises, pedal or sit and chat .
